ANNUAL SUMMIT

The Annual Summit returns to Asia

The Global Maritime Forum Annual Summit 2024 will be held 15-17 October in Tokyo. Roughly 200 leaders from across the maritime value chain and beyond will convene at the Otemachi Mitsui Hall to address the most pressing issues facing global seaborne trade.

Annual Summit 2024 – Tokyo

The Annual Summit 2024 will take place in Tokyo, Japan. Having hosted the last three summits in the US and Europe, the Global Maritime Forum is excited to return the Summit to the dynamic Asian maritime community.

With its pivotal role in global seaborne trade, Japan is a hub for various maritime activities, spanning from shipyard construction to steel production, energy, banking, and trade.

Holding the Annual Summit 2024 in Tokyo presents a unique opportunity to expand global outreach and strengthen connections with key Asian maritime players.

The Tokyo Annual Summit will take place at the Otemachi Mitsui Hall on 15-17 October 2024, bolstered by the support of the Global Maritime Forum’s four Japanese partners.

Details on the Summit agenda will be announced soon.

“Without the Asian maritime community, we will never reach our ambitious goals. The first two Annual Summits took place in Hong Kong and Singapore, and to be a truly global forum, we must expand our dialogue with companies and governments in key Asian maritime hubs, such as China, Japan, and Korea.”

Johannah Christensen, CEO of the Global Maritime Forum
